A Break

I'm taking a break from the list blog. It's become a burden for me, and I always said that when it came to that, I would stop. Plus, no one ever leaves comments, so I don't have any sort of positive feedback, except from my sweet Colorado friend who posts on facebook what she thinks about the lists. So sorry, Beth, you were my one true fan! If I ever start back up, I'll post my return on facebook.

  1. I don't know why people don't leave comments. Your lists are the perfect conversation starters. I just really think that unless you have a blog yourself, you don't realize the significance of comments, which is probably true for the majority of your readers. Like someone might text me a comment about my blog when they could have written it in the comment section and helped me feel like less of a loser who has no blog readers. Also, I think that if you want comments you have to spend the time leaving comments on others' blogs.

I left you comments! I would have on every post, but I didn't want to seem annoying.

I hope you are just taking a break. I think your kids will pore over every word of this one day. Imagine how much we would love it if Mom or Dad had something like this from long ago. I think I am one of the people who knows you best in the world, but I gain even greater insight from your lists. Now I'm just going to have to pick out my own gifts for you.

  2. I've never left a comment, but read your lists every day. They read like an autobiography and offer insight into your life. They would make a great book.

    Enjoy your break!

  3. Oh I've thoroughly enjoyed reading them. I want to comment on so many of them, but then I thought you'd think I was a little odd stalker or something. I'll miss them for sure! But enjoy a break from it. I still have lots of guilt from abandoning my blogs, and I keep telling myself I'll get back to them one day. I may take a little break from doing pro photography, actually, just for a year or so, to be able to have just a LITTLE free time. Because I have NONE right now! But I know I'd miss it if I did. I'll surely slow down though.

  4. SO SAD, but enjoy your break!! Blogging can be so hard, hence the reason I have not done it in almost a year.

  5. Maybe you can come back for Olympics, for some special coverage lists.

  6. Nooooo!!! I don't have a computer, so posting comments is impossible, but I read these lists & love these lists & get snack ideas for my kids & fashion tips from these lists. I'm not one of these sympathetic friends who says I understand you need a break...no break, come back lists!!!

  7. Oh no! I'm really going to miss your lists. Sorry I didn't comment more. On the other hand, hopefully this will force me to be better about keeping in touch with you.

  8. Eep...I'm embarrassed at how long it's been since I've checked in. I'm with Kerry though, I never wanted to seem like a stalker. This IS one of my all time favorite blogs ever, just so ya know. :)
