Changes At Our House This Weekend

1. We are not going to put the loft on the market this spring.

2. We got rid of nearly half of the books in our bookshelf.

3. We bought black wire mesh baskets for one of the low bookshelfs and are turning that entire bookshelf into toy/puzzles/games central for the kids.

4. We ordered a conversion kit to turn R's crib into a toddler bed.

5. I took down some things I didn't love anymore from the walls and am replacing it with things I love but didn't have room for and have just been in storage.

6. We added another stacking shelf to the kids art center for more paper, etc. storage.

7. We pared down the Brio train track collection.

8. We bought Fishy Murphy a plant for his tank.

Ch-ch-ch-Changes!

1. My house is going to start waking up at 7:00. No more sleeping in.

2. I am going to take a shower every morning before A leaves for work.

3. Both of my kids WILL take a nap at 1:00 every day.

4. I will no longer use the computer while my children are awake/around/etc.

5. I am going to get back to my daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

6. I will be in my bed, phone off, lights off by 10:30 every night.

7. I will make something new and fun to eat at least once a week.

8. I am going to start wearing (again) my beautiful and expensive clothing.

9. I am going to always have a book that I am reading.

Things I Would Change About The World (don't be expecting world peace or anything)

1. Get rid of the ridiculous reality shows (keep the good ones...I'll be the judge)

2. Outlaw all casinos (they really to me are all that is wrong with the world)

3. Institute fines for spitting on the sidewalk in STL

4. For people to know the truth about what is in what we eat and what is truly bad for us without powerful influence

5. Make people pass competency tests before they can have children

6. More expectant mother parking

7. Getting rid of pennies from our money system, or you know, maybe cash altogether. I haven't really thought this one through. Pennies just seem so ridiculous and money is just really filthy.

8. Gas stations would be modernized so that I don't have to get out and touch that nasty pump

9. Highway 40 would magically be done today

10. Random old people would be outlawed from giving me "advice" and "pointers" concerning my parenting/Winnie in general
