What I Discovered Googling Myself

1. I was a bridesmaid in this beautiful Conway wedding. It really was lovely.
2. Here is my engagement announcement from our paper.
3. I made the honor roll a lot in high school. And they published it every time, which is so funny to me. Here is my recognition for graduating with honor.
4. I was in this other beautiful wedding. Those weddings were my two best girlfriends in college.
5. Randomly, a few pinterest links pop up saying who follows me on their website.
6. You can find out that I am a fan of Sweet M's Cookies, which I am proud to say is true.
7. I am listed in the program for the St. Louis Art Fair.
8. Our daughter's birth announcement in my husband's high school alumni paper.
9. That I attended a seminar taught by my pastor friend Scott

11. You can find my old blog that I wrote on when I had lots more time on my hands
12. A shout-out we received on our friend Patrick's old blog. That photo of his kitchen is hilarious if you've ever seen the glory of their new beautiful, huge house.
13. A bevy of reunion, classmates, mylife, etc. websites that I've never signed up for, but claim to have information on me.
14. I'm surprised my collegiate-level intramural badminton championship isn't preserved on the internet. Come on UCA, you really dropped the shuttlecock on that one.
15. A man with my same name but nicknamed "Handsome" seems to be a bit more popular than me.

Pinterest Pet Peeves

1. Crafting with paint samples

2. Furniture made from pallets

3. Those mummy dogs- made from hot dogs or viennie wienies and crescent rolls- that just won't seem to go away

4. When someone, instead of repinning one of your original pins, goes to the website and pins it themselves also

5. When the pin's description ends with "GENIUS!" or "Why didn't I think of this?!"

6. While most people think it's a great go-to spot for teacher gifts, I think the opposite. I think teachers don't want your homemade crafts. You might think, "but they did love it!" Well, I was a teacher, and I pretended to like a lot of things, too. At least attach a gift card or something. My favorite gifts were thoughtful letters/notes and a gift card.

7. Maybe #6 has roots in this other pet peeve of mine...crafts that have cheesy taglines, like a bag of Rolos (I mean, your teacher served your family for an entire school year for little pay- give her something nicer than a bag of Rolos!) with a tag that says--YOU ROLO-VER THE REST!

My Internets

1. My favorite thing online might be Design Sponge's "Living In:" posts where they give shopping guides for beautifully styled movies. I love it because it is the same way my mind works and would have loved to have thought of that idea first.

2. The only random "personal" blogs I read are Daily Garnish (because she's a vegetarian/vegan like me and we have similar food taste) and Fly Through Our Window (because her blog is fun and I wish we were friends).

3. I also love the apartment therapy family of blogs, which also includes kitchn and ohdeedoh. I check them a couple times a week for great references, links, ideas, etc.

4. I keep up with all of my friends blogs with the blogroll on my family's blog.

5. I watch a lot of music videos on YouTube.

6. I have 61 recipes saved in my recipes bookmark.

7. The only other websites that are regulars for me are Mint (we use for our budgeting), Woot shirts, facebook, 101 cookbooks, and Hogwired (to keep up with my Razorbacks).

600th Post

1. 600 posts = 600 days

2. 51 followers? I would've thought I'd be on Oprah by now.

3. A favorite list of mine is THIS ONE.

4. Of course, I like THIS ONE, TOO.

5. I went back and tagged my posts (I skipped a few) so that it can be fun to look back using the tags that are on the side of the blog.

6. A lot of my posts are about food. I'll try to get more creative.
