2. Being in the car without kids during the day
3. Going to Cardinal games (esp. when it's in green seats or luxury boxes)
4. He eats whatever he wants...usually guilt-free
5. He's typically good at whatever he does
6. He gets to leave our house every day and gets paid to do so
7. He has more freedom in his schedule than I do
for real... i try to remember to be thankful that i'm able to stay home (and not run the nursery anymore!), but sometimes i'm just jealous that matt gets paid to read books & talk to people. (in a nutshell- i know there's more to being a pastor!) i can't remember the last time i ate lunch with friends without cleaning up a spill or picking things up from the floor constantly!

ReplyDeleteNeat blog. I'm a list maker too. I get jealous of my husband too and his kid free grown up days. But these days at home with the kids won't last long, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
